You can also fly into Naples which has a wider choice of carriers and departure points in the UK. Naples is approximately 3 hours drive from the villa through some scenic mountain roads.

All the airports have car hire companies such as Avis.
Check their opening and closing times. Some are even closed on Italian
bank holidays!
